Through participation in sports that emphasize teamwork, unity, and commitment, St. Anne School prepares students for a lifetime of service to others, which is the highest manifestation of God’s presence in our lives.
To enhance and support these basic principles, the athletic department develops programs that teach positive lessons of sportsmanship, respect for one’s opponent, respect for the rules, and the ability to win and lose with grace. Student-athletes practice perseverance, self-discipline, self-denial, self-reliance, and self-confidence. Each student-athlete will learn the importance of teamwork, team discipline, competition, and the joy of competing.
The St. Anne athletic program is well-respected and known throughout the area. St. Anne participates in the Diocese of Beaumont Leagues, which consists of seven area schools. St. Anne School also participates in many area public school volleyball and basketball tournaments and competes quite well. Boys and girls may enroll in a daily athletic class that involves sport-specific skills and weight training. St. Anne athletes represent St. Anne Catholic School at all times and exhibit good sportsmanship.
